Dr. Ashley is a member of the College Of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia, The British Columbian Dental Association and The Canadian Dental Association.  He received his BSc and DMD degrees from the University of British Columbia, graduating with honors in Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry. Upon graduation, Dr. Ashley started his career in the northern town of Fort Nelson, BC gaining valuable experience in all aspects of dentistry, being the sole practitioner in the community.  In 1989 he moved back to his hometown of Kelowna with his family.

 

Dr. Ashley provides a personal and professional interest in his patients to form strong and trusting relationships. It is important to him to educate his patients on their oral health and to present all information and options to his patients in a clear, relaxed and concise manner. He believes dentistry should be accessible to all and is willing to work with his patients to prioritize treatment and direct bill insurance.

 

On a personal level, Dr. Ashley is the second born son of Eugene and Eileen Ashley and was raised in Kelowna.  It comes as no surprise that he spends his spare time in the outdoors with is wife and four sons, as well as spending time enjoying his  grandchildren.  Once in a while, on a hot Okanagan sunny day, you will find him throwing on his slalom ski or trick ski, bringing back memories of his water ski days, when he was the British Colombian, Canadian and World Champion Water Skier.
